The Greater Alameda Business Association mission statement: The Greater Alameda Business Association is dedicated to the growth and prosperity of independent business in Alameda. GABA conducts monthly meetings which provide its members with educational seminars and an opportunity to network. GABA keeps members informed of current issues before City of Alameda agencies and offers its members subsidized and shared advertising. Founded in 1987, GABA is funded by its membership dues and fundraising efforts.
