|Health Fair This Saturday|

Alameda Hospital and other Alameda service organizations will take part in Community Health Fair 2012 Saturday. The public is invited to take advantage of a variety of free health screenings, activities tailor made for children and exhibits for the entire family.
Children's activities include a free bike helmet giveaway to children under 12 years old, while supplies last, child must be present; free safety mouth guards (while supplies last); and kid safety photo IDs.
The fair will offer flu shots (while supplies last), blood-glucose testing for diabetes, body-mass index and body-fat assessments, along with quick-look EKGs.
In addition there will be blood pressure, podiatry, cholesterol and osteoporosis screenings.
The fair will present exhibits on cancer prevention, injury prevention, flu prevention, senior safety and disaster preparedness. Chair massages will also be available.
The fair takes place from 9 a.m. to noon, this Saturday, at Alameda Hospital, 2070 Clinton Ave.
