The holiday season is here, so put on a jacket and gloves and join the Team Alameda Second Sunday Casual Ride 9 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 11, for the brand-new holiday shopping ride. The ride will visit local shops that feature collectibles, works of art, hand-crafted jewelry, antiques, toys, books, cards, wind chimes, purses, artisan glass and unique oddities. There will be time to shop while Team Alameda watches the bicycles. Don't forget to bring helmet, snack, water and sun block, just in case.
