Grand theft reported at 10:44 a.m. on the 1600 block of Ferry Point. Burglary reported at 8:58 a.m. on the 1400 block of High Street. Two vandalism reports: at 12:38 a.m. on Saratoga Street at West Midway Avenue; and at 6:07 a.m. on the 200 block of Mosely Avenue.

Monday, July 12

Grand theft reported at 10:44 a.m. on the 1600 block of Ferry Point.

Burglary reported at 8:58 a.m. on the 1400 block of High Street.

Two vandalism reports: at 12:38 a.m. on Saratoga Street at West Midway Avenue; and at 6:07 a.m. on the 200 block of Mosely Avenue.

Dog bite reported at 11:06 a.m. on the 1000 block of Marina Village Parkway.

Suspicious circumstance: at police HQ at 1:42 p.m., a resident reported hearing that a man admitted to murdering someone in Oakland.

Arrests: for scavenging recyclables and possession of marijuana at 11:49 a.m. on the 2100 block of Encinal Avenue; and for driving unlicensed at 11:33 p.m. on the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

No petty thefts reported.

Tuesday, July 13

Three burglaries: at 8:08 a.m. on the 1500 block of St. Charles Street; at 8:39 a.m. on the 500 block of Santa Clara Avenue; and at 6:14 p.m. on the 1800 block of Webster Street.

ID theft reported at 3:43 p.m. on the 1700 block of Shore Line Drive.

Vehicle theft reported at 9:58 a.m. on the 1100 block of Holly Street.

Vandalism reported at 12:53 p.m. on the 2200 block of San Antonio Avenue.

Battery with great bodily injury reported at 11:15 p.m. on the 200 block of Corpus Christi Road.

Violation of a court order reported at 2:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of Pacific Avenue.

Driver in possession of marijuana reported at 12:15 a.m. on the 800 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Arrests: for driving unlicensed at 4:40 p.m. on the 1500 block of Park Street; and for battery and violation of a court order at 10:04 p.m. on the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Five petty thefts and one attempted petty theft reported.

Wednesday, July 14

Burglary reported at 3:01 a.m. on the 200 block of West Ticonderoga Avenue.

Vehicle theft reported at 7:49 p.m. on the 1800 block of San Antonio Avenue.

Shoplifting reported at 3:43 p.m. on the 1300 block of Park Street.

Assault with a deadly weapon (an ax) reported at 3:20 p.m. on the 2500 block of Clement Avenue.

Battery reported at 1:15 p.m. on the 2500 block of Santa Clara Avenue.

Two dog bites: at 10:18 a.m. on the 100 block of Parfait Lane; and at 9:10 p.m. on the 1000 block of Willow Street.

A rifle and ammunition brought in for destruction at 1:49 p.m. from the 2800 block of Southwood Drive.

A tree fall blocked the road at 10:42 p.m. on the 1700 block of Broadway.

Arrests: for loitering and warrants at 2:02 p.m. on the 1400 block of Oak Street; and for drinking in public and warrants at 2:15 p.m. on the 1400 block of Oak.

One petty theft reported.

Thursday, July 15

Two grand thefts: at 10:04 a.m. on the 2200 block of Otis Drive; and at 1:38 p.m. on the 3200 block of Fernside Boulevard.

Two vehicle thefts: at 11:22 a.m. on the 2000 block of San Jose Avenue; and at 4:06 p.m. on the 1200 block of Chestnut Street.

Elder embezzlement reported at noon on the 1200 block of Caroline Street.

Criminal threats reported at 1:24 p.m. on the 200 block of Shore Line Drive.

Suspicious circumstance: possible theft reported at 1:24 p.m. on the 1300 block of Park Street.

Arrests: for loitering and warrants at 1:30 a.m. on the 2400 block of Mariner Square Drive; for providing false information to police and warrants at 12:15 p.m. on the 2400 block of Central Avenue; and for possession of suspected ecstasy (MDMA) at 12:20 p.m. on the 2400 block of Central Avenue.

Three petty thefts reported.

Friday, July 16

Grand theft reported at 3:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Packet Landing Road.

Vandalism reported at 10:08 a.m. on Fir Avenue at Bismarck Lane.

Two criminal threat reports: at 11:26 a.m. on the 2000 block of Alaska Packer Place; and at 2:01 p.m. on the 3200 block of Encinal Avenue.

Suspicious circumstance: possible vehicle tampering (all lug nuts removed on a vehicle tire) at 10:10 a.m. on the 1100 block of Island Drive.

Two petty thefts reported.

Saturday, July 17

Two grand thefts: at 1:24 p.m. on Webster Street at Haight Avenue; and at 4:37 p.m. on the 600 block of West Ranger Avenue.

Vehicle theft reported at 2:49 p.m. on the 2300 block of Minturn Court.

Suspicious circumstance: a mysteriously broken window on a house reported at 2:22 p.m. on the 3200 block of Liberty Avenue.

Arrests: for traffic violations and warrants at 5:22 p.m. on the 600 block of Willie Stargell Avenue; and for suspicion of carjacking and warrants at 10 p.m. on the 1400 block of Ninth Street.

Four petty thefts reported.

Sunday, July 18

Three grand thefts: at 2:04 p.m. on the 3200 block of Fernside Boulevard; at 2:13 p.m. on the 2400 block of Central Avenue; and at 6:26 p.m. on the 1200 block of Pearl Street.

Burglary reported at 6:21 p.m. on the 1800 block of Pearl.

Vehicle theft reported at 4:46 p.m. on the 2100 block of Alameda Avenue.

Assault with a deadly weapon (fist, feet and a knife) reported at 10 p.m. on the 1400 block of Ninth Street.

Animal abuse reported at 11:33 a.m. on the 700 block of Buena Vista Avenue.

Arrests: for creating a disturbance and being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant at 12:18 p.m. on the 2400 block of Shore Line Drive; and for DUI at 10:06 p.m. on the 2300 block of Blanding Avenue.

Two petty thefts reported.

During the week of July 12, police recovered two bikes.
