First Presbyterian Church, 2001 Santa Clara Ave. (at Chestnut), presents its annual event, Pipe Screams: A Halloween Spooktacular, 6:30 p.m., this Saturday, Oct. 29. Come in costume for the Spooktacular that will feature fun for the whole family with church talent of all ages performing songs from Gilbert & Sullivan's The Sorcerer and The Witch's Curse plus The Phantom of the Opera and Harry Potter. Don't forget Halloween favorites: Casper and Witchy Woman. Food, face–painting and more fun and festivities will follow Bach and Handel audience sing-alongs and a costume parade. Suggested donation, adults $5; free for kids under 12. For more information, call the church office at 522-1477. |
