Pappo opened its doors on Christmas Eve day to anyone in the community
in need of a hot bowl of soup and a friendly smile. Donated coats and winter
clothes were also available to those who needed them. “Our staff and friends
volunteered their time to make this happen,” said Pappo’s chef and owner John
Thiel, pictured here fifth from left peeking over this holday season’s volunteers.
This marks the eighth year Pappo has opened its doors to the less fortunate.
