Mastick Senior Center abounds with art opportunities for the 50- plus community. It provides classes in stained glass, creative writing, drawing, painting, ceramics, beaded jewelry design and graphic arts so that older adults can further develop their creative skills.

From Feb. 14 to May 1, Mastick art class students will showcase their works in the senior center's lobby. The art exhibition will kick off with an opening reception at 1 p.m. on Feb. 14.

The Mastick Senior Center is a division of the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department. It is dedicated to providing well-rounded educational, social and recreational programs for adults 50 and older. It is located at 1155 Santa Clara Ave.
