At Saturday's 46th annual Sand Castle & Sand Sculpture Contest, co-sponsored by Alameda Recreation and Park Department, East Bay Regional Park District, Bayview Women's Club and Alameda Youth Committee, participants were treated to a sunny day, cooled by a bay breeze.
