Spoken like a dinosaur

Editor:
I feel that Hunter Cobb is fortunate because he will probably die of old age before he is forced to acknowledge how tragically misguided his nonsensical ideas about climate change really are (“Questioning the Truth behind ‘Climate Catastrophe’,” Sept. 26).

Fortunately for the rest of us, students are not passively “being organized” but are organizing themselves into an astonishingly effective political force. High school students today seem to have greater knowledge and understanding of science than previous generations of even Ivy League college graduates.

Unlike people who share Cobb’s opinion, young people understand the difference between renewable energy sources and fossil fuels, and the potential and possibilities for new technologies to make this world a better place.

Now if only the old dinosaurs who still roam the Earth would get out of their way and let them get to work.
