Club Tourney’s First Round in the Books

Twenty four golfers of the Alameda Women’s Golf Club (AWGC) completed round one of the 86th Club Championship tournament last Thursday on the Earl Fry Course. Tai Chewpanich sprung out to the early lead after posting an overall 79 in the first round. She won the event last year.

Kidd Inducted to Cal’s Hall of Fame

Last Friday, St. Joseph Notre Dame High School alumni and NBA standout, Jason Kidd, earned one of Cal’s high honors. The Golden Bears inducted Kidd into their Hall of Dame. His jersey, No. 5, has also been retired at UC Berkeley.
