Firefighters used a booster line to extinguish the fire. 9:34 p.m. 800 block of Haight Avenue, citizen assist.

Fire responses: 7:09 a.m. 1400 block of Cottage Street, residential carbon-monoxide alarm. Crewmembers arrived and used their atmospheric monitor, but found no evidence of natural gas present. They advised the resident to replace the malfunctioning monitor and to call Pacific Gas & Electric Company to schedule an inspection. 11:09 p.m. 700 block of Atlantic Avenue, apartment fire alarm.

Fire responses: 12:57 a.m. South Loop Road, block number not given, commercial fire alarm; 2:15 p.m. 2600 block of Blanding Avenue, report of spilled gasoline at a gas station. Firefighters used absorbent to contain a small amount of spilled gasoline. They removed and properly disposed of the absorbent material. 6:45 a.m. 600 block of Central Avenue, apartment fire alarm.

Fire responses: 12:48 a.m. 1000 block of Jost Lane, report of a parked vehicle with smoke coming from the engine. Firefighters used a booster line to extinguish a small fire. 8:38 p.m. 200 block of Central Avenue, commercial fire alarm.

Sunday, June 15

Fire responses: 7:55 p.m. 1200 block of Regent Street, report of smoke inside an apartment. Firefighters determined the smoke was coming from burned food left unattended on the stove. Crewmembers removed the smoldering food, turned off the power to the stove and ventilated the residual smoke. 9:08 p.m. 1200 block of Fernside Boulevard, citizen assist.
