Alameda Free Library: Events for Kids

You may have noticed on Monday, July 12, the Alameda Free Library moved to Phase 4 of it’s reopening process. In this newest phase the library has removed browsing time limits and maximum inside capacity. There will be additional computer access, extended hours on Thursdays and new opening hours on Saturdays.

Storytime and Children’s Programs held at Alameda Free Library are still currently unavailable due to COVID, however there are still plenty of engaging videos and upcoming in-person events for you and your little persons to participate in.

 July 15, noon - Storybook Crafts. Check website for materials list.

 July 15, 10:15 am - Mother Goose on the Loose. Ages 0-2.

 July 16, noon - First Chapter Friday. On the YouTube Channel.

 July 19, 10:30 am - Teddy Bear Picnic. Lincoln Park (check website for upcoming locations.)

 July 19, 3:30 pm - Maker Monday. Ages 6 and up. Some guidance suggested.

 July 20, 10:15 am - Toddler/ Preschool Storytime. Ages 2-5

 July 21, 10:15 am - School Age Storytime. Located on their YouTube channel. Ages 5-8.

 July 24, 2 pm - Crafter noon. Grades 4 - 8. Check website for materials list and registration links.
