Cho Crowned AWGC April Charm Winner

Jean Cho was crowned the Alameda Women’s Golf Club April Charm winner with a stellar effort on the Earl Fry Course last Thursday, April 7.

Cho played in the third flight — handicap of 30 to 32 — where she shot a net 59. She blew away the competition not just in her flight, but in the overall tournament. Her net 59 was five strokes better than the next closest competitor, Mirna Wong, who shot a net 64 in the fourth flight — handicap of 33 to 35. Cho’s net 59 was almost 10 strokes better than the next closest golfer in her flight.

Bonnie Kim and Shirley Lee both posted net 68s in the third flight. Susan Yoon scored a net 69 for fourth place, while Diane Hughes shot a net 70 to round out the top five in the flight.
