Girl Scouts Cookies are One Click Away

Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNC), will kick-off their 2022 Cookie Season on Feb. 1 with the debut of the new AdventurefulsTM cookie, and offer new ways for customers to find and buy cookies online, including contactless delivery through the food delivery app, DoorDash.

The 2022 cookie season runs from Feb. 1 through March 27 and all cookie flavors are $6 a box (shipping fees additional).

The most anticipated new sweet treat is coming to your town: AdventurefulsTM — an indulgent brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt — is the ninth cookie to join line-up of iconic Girl Scout Cookies alongside Thin Mints, Trefoils, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Lemon Ups, Toffee-tastic, and Girl Scout S’mores.

Cookies are just one click away — customers can locate booths and order online with the newly enhanced www.ilovecookies.org. Consumers can find several Girl Scout online shops and have their cookies delivered to their home or find the closest Girl Scout booth for in-person cookie sales outside selected businesses in NorCal. Girl Scouts are also partnering with Bay Area-based Doordash to provide no-contact delivery service on selected dates during the 2022 cookie season.

“GSNorCal is so fortunate to lead the nation with our incredible geography and offer unparalleled camps and outdoor programs for our girls,” said Marina Park, Girl Scouts of Northern California CEO. “We are also very excited to ramp up our e-commerce platforms to the benefit of cookie customers and girls. Last year, GSNorCal hosted 10,000 girl-led online shops, helping to inspire the next generation of impact entrepreneurs by teaching them modern day business and online marketing skills.”

Girls Scouts of Northern California, headquartered in Alameda at 1650 Harbor Bay Parkway, is one of the largest Councils in the country offering unique outdoor experiences, civic engagement, entrepreneurship opportunities, skill-building, leadership, and fun for young girls. Proceeds from the cookie program provide funds for girls’ access to affordable virtual and in-person programming, outdoor, camp and program centers, financial aid and volunteer support services.

COVID-19 safety measures, such as social distancing and wearing masks, will be in place to ensure a safe in-person sales environment.
