Keep Our Kids Equipped4Success

Alameda Education Foundation (AEF) is committed to making each year as successful as possible for the school district’s public school teachers and students.

The Alameda Sun joins AEF in asking its readers to please consider donating to this year’s Equipped4Success campaign. Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) anticipates 2,000 Title I students will need our support this year.

AEF wants to make sure all students have a less-stressful school year. In order to do that AEF needs your help.

Alameda’s teachers and students are counting on the community not only to help pay for school supply kits and backpacks to support low-income students, but to help fund teacher mini-grants, mental health care coordination services for students and teachers and technology access support as well.

Every student should start each year with a new backpack and fresh school supplies. AEF is committed to making sure that all AUSD students have the supplies they need.

AEF is not accepting in-kind school supplies this year. The foundation is able to use monetary donations to order in bulk and specify the most essential items.
