Oakland Police Department (OPD) apprehended two suspects trying to flee from a sideshow in Oakland. The BMW came across High Street bridge on the wrong side of the street at high speed, blew a tire at High and Fernside Boulevard and came to rest near Bayo Vista and Gibbons Drive. An OPD helicopter and many officers followed. Alameda Police Department provided assistance. Officers caught the pair after they abandoned the vehicle. OPD searched the neighborhood for evidence after the arrests.
