Oakmont of Mariner Point, a luxury senior living community, invites the community to view model homes specifically designed to serve Alameda County’s aging population. The community, located at 2400 Mariner Square Dr., is scheduled to open for move-ins this spring and is now accepting reservations. Onsite walk-in and scheduled appointments are welcome from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week.

Oakmont of Mariner Point will offer 33 assisted living and 19 memory-care apartments in several floor plan options outfitted with elements of luxury. These include 10-foot high ceilings, crown molding and spacious bathrooms. 

Residents will have access to amenities such as gourmet dining prepared by an executive chef and on and off-site recreational and social activities. Also onsite are a bistro, private movie theater, full-size fitness center with exercise classes, activity rooms with scheduled social events, a salon and day spa and a flower and vegetable garden. Residents will be able to use the walking paths and pet park at their leisure, and there will be chauffeured transportation and concierge services to make daily tasks even easier.

Oakmont of Mariner Point will be a full-service assisted living community offering a continuum of customized, 24-hour services that gives residents the daily quality care they need as they age. Care services can include medication management, housekeeping, health monitoring and assessments, grooming assistance, dietary guidance, escort services to offsite appointments and activities, appointment coordination and a nurse on site seven days a week. 

Other care programs include a Diabetes Wellness Program that provides customized meals, exercise activities, glucometer readings and daily evaluations and a concierge medicine program that allows outside physicians to visit participating residents onsite in a fully-equipped wellness center.
