Temple Israel Presents Purim Carneval

Games, booths, prizes (gold fish and more), face painting, mask making, the Shushan Saloon and the Shushan Deli are a few of the fun and delicious activities taking place this Sunday, March 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Temple Israel of Alameda’s world famous Temple Purim. The temple is located at 3183 Mecartney Rd.

The kids can enjoy the Astro Jumper from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a special visit from Boswick the clown and magician. Boswick will entertain the crowd at the carnival from 1 to 2 p.m., and then from 2 to 3 p.m. he will perform his award-winning magic show in the sanctuary.

The Shushan Deli will delight the hungry crowd with delicious veggie and turkey burgers, sweet potato fries, fruit and veggie plates, cold drinks, hamentaschen and pumpkin pie for dessert.
