The Alameda Girls’ Softball Association (AGSA) completed an extensive amount of games last week. The AGSA had to make up for several games that were postponed due to rainy weather.

In one make-up match, the Pagano’s Hardware Tigers took down the Compliment’s Salon Space Invaders 9-0 in an eight-and-under division match up. Cheyenne Caina and Breanna McMillan hit doubles for the Tigers in the first inning.

The Tigers beat the Alameda Optometry Ragin’ Red Tigers in their second game of the week in a 5-0 shutout. The Tigers scored early, with five hits in a row in the bottom of the first, including a triple by Samantha Obot. Caitlin Larsen had two hits for the Raging Red Tigers.
The Tigers won their third game of the week — and its second victory over the Red Tigers — in an 8-1 blowout in another make-up game. The Tigers’ Jessica Peterson got her first hit of the season and they stayed dialed in at the plate with two RBIs each from Isabelle Sanfilippo, Ella McDonald and Cheyenne Caina.
