The City of Alameda announced the opening of the extension of Clement Avenue behind the former Del Monte building site. The extension will connect Clement Avenue from Entrance Road to the intersection of Sherman Street and Atlantic Avenue.
Starting in June, Caltrans will begin an improvement project on Encinal Avenue between Broadway and Sherman Street.
The road connecting Atlantic Avenue and Sherman Street between Buena Vista Avenue and Wind River Road reopened on Jan. 14. The street was closed to accommodate for construction around the historic Del Monte building.
The road connecting Atlantic Avenue and Sherman Street between Buena Vista Avenue and Wind River Road will remain closed until Jan. 14, 2022, due to weather delays, according to a press release from the City of Alameda.
Starting Monday, Dec. 6, through Thursday, Dec. 30, there will be no through traffic on Sherman Street, between Buena Vista Avenue and Wind River Road.
