The City of Alameda announced the opening of the extension of Clement Avenue behind the former Del Monte building site. The extension will connect Clement Avenue from Entrance Road to the intersection of Sherman Street and Atlantic Avenue.
The Alameda County Public Works Agency will be performing emergency repairs to the High Street Bridge on Friday, Dec. 18. The bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to all vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. There will also be some limitations to marine traffic. The U.S.
